Travisano Lab Group

We investigate big evolutionary topics with little organisms using experimental evolution. Our current primary focus is on multicellularity and evolutionary reversibility, using Baker's yeast. Other research includes 'EvoDevo' with Myxococcus xanthus, history and chance with Escherichia coli, thermal adaptation with bacteria and their viruses, spatial structure, and adaptive radiation with Pseudomonas fluorescens (among other things).
